Waxed Wing was founded by Trevor Tochydlowski, a Pennsylvanian with a deep connection to the outdoors. The goal is simple: create functional, well-made blades that give back to the land they’re used in.

A background in Wildlife Biology and Forest Conservation directly shaped both the design philosophy and ethos behind every build. Countless hours in the field, both professionally and recreationally, led to the lineup you see today. Each knife is designed to fill a distinct, practical niche.

Giving Back: Starting on 10/15/2026, five dollars from every blade sold goes directly to wildlife and habitat conservation (check each product description to see where it goes). No nonsense, just a direct, predictable contribution from every sale to support wild spaces and native bird habitats. Proof of these donations will be listed via my instagram account @WaxedWing at the end of each month. Below you’ll find a counter for each donation status!
